Aaand I’m back with an actual post to update all of my followers on what’s going to be happening. But first, an apology: I am late with the post for Week 1 of the Pagan Experience, and I am sorry for that. I’ve been getting my life in order and looking for a job for most of winter break and haven’t been focusing much on original content, but that’s about to change. The late entry will be posted later this evening and the entry for Week 2 will go up on the 11th as scheduled.
Now, as for the Grimoire Challenge 2016; this is a Tumblr thing, and I’ll let the About page speak for itself:
“Each month is structured in the following way:
- 1-2 areas of witchcraft
- guest speaker(s)
- journal prompt
- free space
You can do as much or as little as you’re comfortable with. I’ve chosen the areas in which the challenge will be made up of based on your responses – if you find that something you wanted to do is not represented, use your “free spaces.”
The most important thing to remember is that you’re creating a book that works best for you – don’t worry about listing all the correspondences ever if you have a hard source you can refer back to. Put what you use most frequently in your grimoire or rituals and spells that are specific to you.
Or ignore me all together, because it’s your grimoire and you can put whatever you want into it. “
For this I’ll be cross-posting with my Tumblr, using #Grimoire Challenge. It should be fun, and I encourage everyone to at least take a look at it, as well as the the tags for book of shadows and grimoire if you like book porn and inspiration for your own stuff. There are some seriously beautiful pictures on there.
Back on subject. I am also a week late on GC2k16, for the same reasons listed above. Expect a post for it either tonight or tomorrow morning.
Now, if you will excuse me, I need to get back to work.
